Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Located slightly off the main safari route,a lovely, quiet park in Southern Sri Lanka. In addition, It is most famous for its Leopard , Sloth Bear, elephant and various bird species.
Therefore provides a serene environment for game viewing, birding and radiates authentic safari atmosphere.
There are various National Parks within near proximity of the campsite. With our own dedicated safari vehicles we are able to offer very competitive day trips to them all. All our vehicles are equipped with power to charge equipment on the move and for each person there will be a lunch box and adequate bottled water supplied. Bundala National Park is one of the most popular bird sanctuaries in South Asia.
The park has a large variety of habitats, making it possible to support a wealth of wildlife in its small area.
The most famous spectacle in the park is the elephants, which are occasionally seen along bushes, and lakes.
Other animals found in the park include buffalo, , spotted deer, wild boar, mongoose, salt water crocodile, marsh crocodile, land monitor and monkeys.
Bundala National Park contains over 200 bird species. Common water birds to be seen here are pelicans, spoonbills, geese, water fowls and the migratory flamingos, which arrive in hundreds of thousands creating one of Sri Lanka’s great natural sights over the Indian Ocean.

Kirinda is a small village basking in the southern province of Sri Lanka. It has become one of the most venerated places of Buddhism. The beautiful beach and the temple built on the huge rock boulder on Kirinda beach are the main attractions of Kirinda. In fact you have to climb a stair lead up to the temple.
